Ambala: Ambala Cantt railway station was crowded with local residents to see Vande Bharat trai   n to run between Amritsar to New Delhi railway stations, when it reached Ambala Cantt railway station on Saturday. The train was warmly welcomed by Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij and Kartikay Sharma Rajya Sabha member. Those present at the railway station showered flowers on the train scheduled to reach Delhi 37 minuted earlier than Shatabdi Express train between Amritsar and New Delhi. Vande Bharat train will cover journey between Amritsar to Delhi in 5 hours and 20 minutes running with 81.11 km speed. Information reveals that this is the most ultra modern luxuary train in the country, superior than any other luxuary train across the world.

Both Vij and Sharma gave green signal to the train when it left Ambala Cantt railway sration for New Delhi . Addressing a large  gathering of residents as well as railway staff at the platform, Vij said that being a son of a railway employee he has spent his childhood between the whisles of train engines. He said that there was a time when trains in the country were having engines driven by coal and with passage of time diesel engines driven train started moving on rail tracks, followed by electric driven trains were introduced in the country and it is due to our Prime Minister Narender Modi that the country is having number of highways all over in the country made travelling not only easy but highly comfortable and enjoyable in past over nine years.
