Manohar Lal Khatter Chief Minister Haryana while addressing media persons said, the state is facing severe financial crisis due to epidemic outbreak declared in the state, which has created worldwide economic disturbance due to fast spreading corona virus. He said, we are standing at red signal waiting for green the light aiming to defeat corona Khatter said, financial assistance has been demanded from government in the centre to fight disease vigorously otherwise we will be left with no alternative except  to take loan to save life of people in the state..He said, its time not to arrange funds for self demand in the state but save life of people in the state suffering from epidemic outbreak and there are two ways before state government either to have grant from central government or to take loan.

Khatter said, state government was expecting to earn revenue worth Rs 2500 crore towards GST collection but able to get only 1000 crore due to lock down. He added, similarly the state was expecting to collect huge amount towards excise likely to earn hardly Rs 100 crore. Chief Minister said that there is immediate requirement for Rs 4600 crore for employees salaries and allowances, besides amount worth Rs 6200 crore required for pension as well as implementation of government’s welfare schemes including ‘Maan-dhan Yozna’ for farmers, MNREGA scheme for labourers, Chief Minister’s ‘Parivar Samridhi Yozna’ to benefit 23000 persons, supply of food grains for three months to families below poverty line and heavy expenses required to fight corona.  He made an appeal to social welfare organizations to donate for Corona Relief Fund whole heartedly at this crucial time.

Khatter told media persons that Corona Commandos teams are being constituted in the state to fight corona in zones declared red. He said, all SPs in the state have been directed to constitute such teams in their district equipped with ultra modern arms, transport facilities and training provides by the state health department to help people suffering from disease. He said that corona commanders have been selected from CID wing and CM Flying Squad in the state in order to control worst situation in association with doctors and medical staff under the supervision of Pankaj Nain presently working as CM Squad SP.
