Ambala: Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij while talking to media persons here at his camp office raised questions on the role of the opposition and said that “Wow opposition, questions on encounter and even questions when police caught the assailants”. He said, when Atiq’s son Asad and his associate Ghulam had an encounter, the opposition said why they were shot, why not caught and now when Atiq and Ashraf were shot dead and the policemen caught the assailants then the opposition leaders are saying why the police did not shoot them. Questioning the opposition, Vij raised question that what is the religion and faith of the opposition in our country. It is worth mentioning that during night at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, mafia don Atiq Ahmed and his brotherAshraf were shot dead by three persons when they were in police custody.  Even before this, Atiq Ahmed’s sons Asad and Ghulam were also killed during a police encounter in Jhansi.

On a recent statement by Rahul Gandhi of Congress that in order to defeat BJP in coming polls in Karnatka Congress needs victory over about 160  seats, Anil Vij said Rahul should stop making such type of baseless statements and should first tell on which seat he is going to contest polls. Pointing out at the statement of Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister as regard Atiq’s killing said that it was murder and funeral of law and order in the country. Vij said’ it is seen that leaders of political parties in opposition in our country have sympathy for mafias and criminals always expressing sorrow over their death.

In reply to a media question as regard Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal facing CBI investigation,Vij said that Kejrival should face  and cooperate CBI investigation whole-heartedly rather raising hue and cry over it. He appreciated the statement of senior Congress leader Ajay Makan that Arvind Kejriwal should welcome and cooperate CBI investigation team, rather making comments over CBI investigation.
