Karnal:  A woman police constable has accused a police Sub Inspector posted in CIA of rape and other charges. Ganga Ram Poonia SP Karnal said, Sadar police station has registered a case on the complaint of a female police employee and started investigation. The complainant woman in her complaint to the police alleged that she had met Sub Inspector Sumit and both developed intimate relations.

After this, the accused took her to a hotel in Chandigarh, where the accused made her drink with intoxicating pills and forcibly raped her without her consent when she was under the influence of intoxicated pills and she was compelled to do bad things with him. The complainant said that the alleged accused had also prepared her nude video and starated exploiting her after this, and also deceived her by assuring to marry her in the court as and when she refused to have sexual relationship with him. In the meantime she developed a pregnancy.
In her complaint to the Civil Lines police station Karnal, the victim on June 3, the accused said that his family members are against the marriage because she belongs to another caste. After this, she told the accused that she had become pregnant. The accused got her tests done and she was found to be pregnant. After this, the accused brought an MTP kit from a doctor and gave it to her. Sadar police station in-charge Rajpal said that a case has been registered on the woman’s complaint and investigation is still going on.
