While regular Bengaluru-Ahmedabad one-way fares start at RS 5700, as of Thursday evening, a one way ticket for the same sector for Saturday, November 18, was going for Rs 33,000. Cheapest early morning and 7pm flights at Rs 26,000 and Flight with stopover priced over Rs 16,000. With the Indian team having stormed into the title clash, airfares to the match city have just shot through the roof. This despite IndiGo operating six direct flights from Bengaluru to Ahmedabad.
The final at the Narendra Modi stadium begins at 2 pmon Sunday. Some die hard cricket fans are planning take flights with a stopover in Mumbai. However, even for those, the one-way fares are above Rs 16,000.
